I couldn’t spell beautiful until the fourth grade
I remember writing a paper and having my teacher’s barely legible hand writing correct it
I still can’t spell defiently
And it’s sad when auto spell doesn’t even work for the words for you
It’s unfair that you can spell difficult and my bs and ds still get mixed up
It’s unfair that you can do 123-56 divided by 2 in your head and I have to count 7-3 on my fingers
It sucks it takes me a day to read some thing you could read in an hour
I can’t figure out 20% off of 19.99 but you can figure out the percentage of the population who is over the age of 80
But when my pen touches the paper, it doesn’t stop
Because my obstacle has made me strong and determined
Some times I can be weak letting the symbols that confuse me break me
But there is no tear that can’t be wiped away
Because Of it I see things from a different perspective
Something you’ll never understand
And that’s unfair

Colon parenthesis

I’ll teach you how to smile
Because those pearly whites don’t do you justice
Really smile,
Like you mean it.
Find something worth smiling for
And know you’re the reason I smile
First
Squint your eyes
But not too much,
Because then I can’t see the stories that lie beneath them
Then
Wrinkle your nose
So you can make room for your smile
Lick your lips
So theyll be baby soft
Now,
Smile.
Let every happy memory fill you up.
Starting at your toes till it fill up very square inch of your body.
Freeze.
See?
You’re beautiful.

I Hate the Stars

They continually mock me with their undeniable beauty. Whenever I look up to see them, they remind me of the dreams I couldn’t reach .My heart won’t let me shoot for the stars because it’s been broken to many times. I barely know what my dreams are anymore, the stars’ light wasn’t bright enough to help me find them. I much prefer clouds, light and free flowing. They’re much easier to grasp, even though I’ve never reached cloud nine. Sometimes they slip through my fingers, but the suns rays find their way into the deepest corners to help me find my way. Ive always been afraid of the dark.

Our Friendship Was Based Off of Daisy Chains

When we were young we made daisy chains. We draped each others heads with them so be could become the princesses we weren’t. Inside our castle there were servants to wait on us hand and foot. And oh that prince charming, we’d bicker over him. As we grew older that castle collapsed and we buried it together, deep into the earth next to our beautiful dresses and jewels. But those daisy chains were what kept us together. We didn’t drape them over our heads, but we wore them as jewelry, symbolic of our power. You suddenly grew greedy, And my bracletes turned into cuffs. The key was buried in the freshly turned earth. Those daisy chains I created turned into my own chains. You didn’t need servants because I was your servant and I waited on you hand and foot. Nothing was ever good enough and The lashes still seem freshly scarred on my back. Every time I tried to escape, their grip became tighter and tighter; the flowers mocked me with their beauty that I so desperately coveted. I was dying because of you and your little green eyes. I grew until I had the power, I was sneaky like when I would steal kisses from your boyfriend durging recess. I didn’t abuse my new power, I had blue eyes that saw the pure. And my glassy blue eyes saw straight through you. I broke through those daisy gains because I was strong. I buried you on top of the riches you so desperately wanted with the flowers from my daisy chains in your hair.

I'm Just Two Minus One

Dance with me
Let me stand on your feet
Wrap your arms around my waist
Tickle my neck with your eye lashes
Laugh with me
Till my face turns red
And tears stream down your face
Let’s ended it with a big sigh
Breath with me
Aline each breath with mine
The rise and fall of your chest perfectly in time
The beat of you heart steady
Live with me
Be mine alone
Keep me safe and hidden
Be mine
